I believe I can fly

At 3 years of age, Jesse has no fear....(except maybe bugs)!  He loves to push the limits when it comes to speed and heights.  The faster he can drive his little battery operated tractor, the better he likes it!  John and Anna took the kids to Poochie's pond house to spend the night.  Anna sent me this text message.....He's only 3!!!!!

How old are you?

Out of the blue yesterday, Jesse asked me how old I am.  I said "I'm 62."  Without missing a beat he said, "Dang Gigi, you're about to die!  And if you die, Dub will have to come live with us."

She must be 2!

Anna told Ruthie no about something today.  Ruthie looked at her and with these exact words said "Excuse me, you don't tell me no!"  She's heard that somewhere before!  She is too much!

Time out.....

I won't be here.....

Last Sunday night in our Sparks class, Jesse raised his hand and said "I don't know if we have Awana on January 12 (it's a Saturday so we don't!) but if we do, I won't be here.  I have to go to my buddy Sam's birthday party."  He's so excited and so doggone cute!

Abraham and Lot

In our Sparks class last Sunday night, we were learning about Abraham and Lot - about being considerate and putting others before yourself.  In the process we also talked about Lot moving to Sodom and Gomorrah and how wicked those cities were.  So what does wicked mean???  Jesse raised his hand and said, "I'll bet they said lots of cuss words in those cities!"  Yep, they probably did, Jesse!

I just love her so much

Sully, Ruthie and I were in the car riding home from church.  Sully was sitting right beside Ruthie and talking to her and she was cooing right back to him.  It was precious.  Sully said "Gigi I just love her so much!  I love her so much that it hurts!"  I told him that I know just what he means....that's how I feel about him, Jesse and Ruthie.  He said "No, Gigi.  You don't understand.  I love her so much that my throat hurts and the top of my stomach, like my heart!"  He has such a sweet, sensitive heart and knows how to express it so well!  I love that boy....and his siblings, so much that it hurts!
