About a month ago Sully was misbehaving at the Sunday dinner table. Anna picked him up to take him to the bedroom for a little correction. All the way down the hall we could hear him saying, "No, I don't want a spanking! What are my options???" Hysterical!
Last week while riding in the car with Anna he asked for a piece of gum. Anna told him he didn't need any gum right now. In a few minutes he said, "Mama, would you consider just one piece of gum?"
Sully and I were strolling through the toy department at Walmart the other day. We passed by a display of Angry Bird toys. I don't like the way they look. That angry look makes them look mean to me. Sully really wanted one of the little stuffed birds. When he realized I wasn't going to buy one, he asked for the little pig. Again I told him no. I said, "Sully I'm not going to buy those things. I think they look mean. When you get to be a grown up man, you can spend your money on them if you want to, but Gigi is not spending her money on them." He looked at me, wheels turning the whole while and in a minute he said, "I'll ask Daddy or Sam or Dub to buy me one. They are grown mans!" Such a smart, sweet boy.
